LISSA PATTILLO'S PICK:Pimping out one of the more unknown titles today, my pick of the week is
Nightmares for Sale, volume 2. Released by Aurora Publishing, it's an interesting and eerie collection of stories reminiscent of
Petshop of Horrors.
SABRINA'S PICK:It's kind of a slow week this week, but I'm gonna have to pick
Ballad of a Shinigami Vol. 1. It's the first light novel I've ever read, and the pacing is simply amazing.
CHARLES TAN'S PICK:
MPD Psycho TP Vol 04
is one of those titles I'll buy sight unseen (and well, you're forced
to because it's shrink-wrapped). Bizarre mysteries and gruesome visuals
abound and hopefully this volume will enlighten readers with regards to
our protagonist(s).
DAN POLLEY'S PICK:Blood Alone
volume 3 deserves a look this week. It's a title that takes a delicate
look at the life of vampires and does so admirably. When vampires
choose to not use their powers and instead focus on love, what you have
is this refreshing title.
LORI HENDERSON'S PICK:I'm going to go with the mainstream this week and recommend
Fairy Tail Volume 1 (and
2) It's got that
One Piece feel, except with wizards instead of pirates. If it lives up to it's mentor, then this title should be a lot of fun!
